5 natural remedies to eliminate parched skin

1. Milk emulsion

The lactic acid in milk helps to exfoliate dead skin cells and retain moisture, while glycerine adds a hydrating element to the blend. Here’s how to make it:

  • To create a milk emulsion, warm a cup of milk until it’s lukewarm.
  • Incorporate 1 teaspoon of glycerine, ¼ teaspoon of bicarbonate of soda, and ¼ teaspoon of borax into the milk.
  • Thoroughly mix the concoction until all the ingredients have dissolved.
  • Allow it to cool for an hour.
  • Once cooled, gently apply this milk emulsion to the parched areas of your skin, including your face.
  • Afterward, rinse it off with lukewarm water.

2. Cleansing agent

This natural cleansing agent will aid in gently cleansing your skin without stripping it of its natural oils, leaving your skin supple and glowing. Here’s how to prepare it:

  • For a refreshing cleansing experience that leaves your skin supple and glowing, concoct a homemade cleansing agent.
  • Place a container on heat and add 12 tablespoons of white vaseline, 4 tablespoons of baby oil, and 1 tablespoon of beeswax.
  • Allow all the ingredients to meld together.
  • Once done, remove from heat and add a few drops of rose essence to the blend for a delightful scent.
  • Transfer the mixture to a jar and use it to cleanse your face.
  • To remove the cleanser, use a damp cloth or sponge.

3. Hydrating lotion

Hydration is pivotal in combatting parched skin. The natural anti-inflammatory properties of rose water combined with the moisturizing effects of glycerine make this homemade lotion a superb addition to your skincare regimen. Here’s how to make it:

  • Mingle ¾ cup of rose water with ¼ cup of glycerine, 1 teaspoon of vinegar, and ¼ teaspoon of honey.
  • Keep this concoction in a bottle and use it regularly after cleansing.
  • Apply it to your skin, focusing on the parched areas, to keep your skin moisturized and revitalized.

4. Banana facial mask

Opt for a rejuvenating banana facial mask to deeply nourish your skin. Bananas are packed with potassium and vitamins that aid in replenishing your skin, while honey and yogurt provide moisture and gentle exfoliation. Here’s how to make it:

  • Mash a ripe banana and blend it with a mixture of honey and yogurt.
  • This results in a hydrating and nourishing paste that you can apply to your face.
  • Leave the mask on for about 20 minutes, or until it dries. Then, rinse it off with lukewarm water.
